We formed Athletics Staffing and Consultants because there is a need for a firm that is dedicated to diversity, and whose staff had personal experiences in dealing with the challenges associated with recruitment and hiring.
Carl McAloose has unparalleled experience in a variety of positions within the NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA. He has been a commissioner, an athletic director, a coach, a student-athlete and has worked at every level of the NCAA.
Kurt Patberg has over 30 years of college athletics experience both on campus and in the conference office for both the NCAA and NAIA. His focus is on searches for ADs and commissioners, as well as athletics as a driver for admission and retention.

Terri Howes, the former senior associate athletics director at West Virginia University, specializes in organizational governance and training women in leadership. During her tenure at WVU, she was ranked among the Top 10 senior women administrators in the nation.
Tim Selgo, the former director of athletics at Grand Valley State University, specializes in leadership training and staffing. His primary focus area is strategic planning, hiring, staff development, recruitment training, marketing and revenue generation.
Brynn Richter began her career in collegiate athletics at Bowling Green State University in 2005. Her work in athletics focused on holistic student-athlete support services, with an emphasis in academic leadership and compliance at institutions such as Colorado State, Florida State and FGCU.
Jim Abbott is a veteran athletic administrator with more than 30 years of experience in sports and higher education administration. Since 2002, Abbott has served as Athletic Director at Oklahoma City University, guiding the department to unprecedented levels of success.
Kim Fierke is a Senior Consultant with Athletics Staffing and Consultants with her area of specialty in matters relating to NCAA Division III with a special emphasis in the areas of compliance, strategic planning, and Title IX/gender equity.

Marcus Manning served as director of athletics at Centenary College and Maryville and currently leads efforts in Durham, NC to create equity and economic change through sport. Manning is an expert in strategic planning and economic development and is well-versed in issues related to NCAA transitioning.
